- 3 target species: 1 bird, 1 bush-cricket, 1 bat
- 3 objectives: help, advise, develop tools
The Parc Naturel Régional des Ballons des Vosges has set up acoustic inventories to specifically search 3 species in their territory:
- 1 bird: the Eurasian pygmy owl (Glaucidium passerinum)
- 1 bush-cricket: the Large Saw-tailed Bush-cricket (Polysarcus denticauda)
- 1 bat: the parti-coloured bat (Vespertilio murinus)
We are supporting this project by advising the team on practical issues linked to the implementation of the recordings (deployment of equipment, settings, etc.) and by developing tools to search for sounds of interest (which potentially correspond to the target species) in the very large number of recordings collected.
